Our body has its own electromagnetic field due to the voltage that each cell carries. There is an electromagnetic exchange for everything that happens within our body – every cell and tissue function depends on it. In nature, electromagnetic fields are everywhere. PEMFs deliver low frequency electromagnetic fields that pass through the body penetrating every cell, tissue, organ and bone without being absorbed or altered. As they pass through, they stimulate the electrical and chemical processes in the tissue encouraging better cell function and health.

There has been research done on the beneficial effects of PEMF therapy since the 1970’s, most of it on fracture healing, depression, arthritis and inflammation. Because this therapy improves cellular function, it has the possibility to help with many different complaints. These natural electromagnetic fields can also help counteract the negative effects of our manmade electromagnetic fields of cell phones, power lines, wifi etc.

Treatments are a half hour in length and involve laying on a mat in a comfortable zero gravity chair or using a more focused pad for specific injuries. You are assessed for your symptoms and diagnosis and a treatment plan is laid out for you. It is our goal to find the most appropriate frequencies and intensities to allow you results.
